This coffee table book entitled : Bamboo - From Traditional to Innovative Products is a casual guide that provides information and knowledge on the commercial bamboo species in Malaysia and their many uses. In addition, the book recounts briefly the hardware used for the production of traditional products. The book also showcases the transformation of traditional bamboo products into innovative products by FRIM researchers. The search for the information contained in this book has not been easy; it requires the cooperation and commitment of everyone involved with bamboo research especially the authors of this book.
