Directory of Felled and Uprooted Trees in FRIM Volume 2

This Directory of Felled and Uprooted Trees in FRIM Volume 2 book is an extended compilation of felled and uprooted trees within the Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) rich ground for a period of 7 years. The trees were felled and uprooted due to several factors such as old age, potential risk trees, dying, diseased, weather conditions and by environmental causes including lighting strikes. These records indicate FRIM’s determinations in managing aging trees and ensuring safety within the campus which signify the historical steps taken by the forefather of the institute to transform an idle land to a lush green area.
