The Journal of Tropical Forest Science (JTFS) is a quarterly journal dedicated to improving our understanding of tropical forestry, an area that has never before attracted so much attention in the conservation of the environment, both globally and in the tropical countries, and the need to manage the tropical forest as sustainable ecosystems. JTFS publishes original articles on current research related to tropical forestry and its associated sciences, including management of tropical forests, development, production and harvesting of forest produce (wood and non-wood), forest botany, physiology, ecology, soil, genetics, protection, conservation, forest mycology, economics and aspects of afforestation and reforestation. Papers on other areas of forestry that can be related to tropical forestry, commentaries, hypotheses, short communications and book reviews are also published.
