Medicinal Plants Of Rimba Herba Perlis

The purpose of this book is to highlight a broad spectrum of scientific evidence and traditional knowledge supporting the therapeutic uses of 25 species of medicinal plants found in Rimba Herba Perlis. It is important to note that the area , established as an Herbal Forest by the Forestry Department Peninsular Malaysia, serves as a gene bank for various medicinal species that thrive in this country. Each of the species described in this book is represented and illustrated  by original colour photographs. In particular, the information presented is meant to be comprehensive and current, and hoped to serve as a useful reference and guide for scientific studies as well as for the general public interested in the curative properties of medicinal plants
