This book is a revised version of an earlier edition published in 1967. It provides information pertaining to the classification of trees, nomenclature and classification of Malaysian timbers. The original dichotomous key for identification of woods has been adjusted with the addition of gerutu and rubber wood. The latest durability rating and the latest botanical name for each timber are listed.
